Nieke Design

De Nieuwe Collectie, Amsterdam hired me to work with them on several projects, including this outdoor exhibition. De Nieuwe Collectie specializes in cultural design for institutions located in Amsterdam, such as museums, theaters, the botanical gardens, the local zoo etc.

This project consists of 24 boards, which exhibit portraits of contemporary and historical icons and their personal connection to the the different cultural institutions located in Amsterdam’s so called ‘Plantage area.’

It gives visitors insight in what these institutions have to offer and promotes them in this way. A few of the boards include city maps which show you where the institutions are located and give practical visitor information.
